THE LAST CITY CELLAR DOOR FOR 2018 – TASMANIA – SATURDAY OCTOBER 13TH3rd Sep, 2018
You heard right – our 2018 City Cellar Door Series is almost finished. We have one more massive day of wine drinking, wine talking & wine tasting left for you.
We are also a tiny bit excited because for the first time in City Cellar Door history we’ve crossed the border! Join us for our final party this 2018 when we’ll be celebrating Tasmania and welcoming some of the Apple Isles’ major labels and producers. This is the best chance you’ll have to sample all of these excellent wines and spirits without leaving Melbourne!
Consisting of 7 main regions, Tasmania’s naturally elegant wines are made from grapes grown in climates similar to those of the famous European wines. Tassie enjoys mild summers and long Autumn days that ripen the grapes providing elegance and intensity of flavour.

City Cellar Door – North East Victoria – Saturday September 1st10th Aug, 2018
We’ve got just two more massive City Cellar Door sessions to go, friends! That’s correct, we’re four down with only two more chances to join us at Melbourne’s favourite wine party!
Next up is North East Victoria, a region encompassing several sub-regions all of which display wines of unique character and contrast. From gentle slopes to low plains, the geography of the North East Victorian wine region is as diverse as it’s winemaking history. Family owned wineries with rich Italian heritage champion alternative varietals, iconic producers provide some of the best fortified wines in Australia and innovative young producers showcase exciting cool climate styles. The North East spans six wine regions; Alpine Valleys, Beechworth, Glenrowan, King Valley, Rutherglen and Upper Goulbourn.
We’ve brought all of these exciting regions all under one roof for you for one day, so save yourself the 5 + hour drive, get your crew together and head upstairs to Cumulus Up where you can meet the makers and taste the wines (and beers and other bevvies) from;

City Cellar Door – Yarra Valley – Saturday August 4th19th Jul, 2018
Every year City Cellar Door’s Yarra Valley session sees Cumulus Up full to the brim of wine enthusiasts eager to sample the best this next-door-neighbour region has to offer. There’s plenty to get excited about too, with wines from generations’ old vineyards such as Yeringberg who are proudly celebrating 150 years in the industry this year, alongside relative newcomers Payten & Jones and the exciting new range from Mount Mary recently released under the Marli Russell label.
2018 is no different!! As we gear up for this serious show-stopper on Saturday August 4th, grab your mates and join us for an afternoon celebrating (and drinking) one of Australia’s, if not the world’s most exciting and respected wine producing regions.
