Each year Cumulus Up hosts the much-loved free wine event City Cellar Door, a series of wine tastings that brings regional Australian wine producers together under one convenient roof in the heart of the CBD. Following on from this hugely successful event and after really positive responses to the hand-full of distillers who have appeared at our City Cellar Door events we have re-launched The Spirit Fair.
Enjoy a welcome cocktail on arrival before touring around the the second-floor wine bar, Cumulus Up, tasting the wares from some of the finest spirit producers in Australia. Savour a sip or nip of each type of spirit, presented in the way that they are intended to be enjoyed, whether with a splash of soda, a dash of tonic or traditional and neat.
Naturally, appreciating a fine sprit should go hand-in-hand with a tasty, indulgent snack. Tickets include a suitably soak-able dish from the Cumulus Up kitchen – think a slow roast suckling pig roll or the signature confit duck waffle.

We love the summer months – our farmers are offering some extraordinarily good produce and it’s always in abundance. Here are some of our favourite new menu items that are ideal for warmer days.
Barbequed Crystal Bay prawns, charred red coral & black garlic: a simple and moreish homage to this exceptional crustacean. A delicious addition to your shared starters.
And if our Peach Fizz doesn’t make you feel summery then probably nothing will. Aperol, peach, cucumber and rum all in a perfect boozy, herbal, fruity harmony – a welcome inclusion to our cocktail menu this summer.
